Sightseeing Tour and Madeira Wine Tasting

Sightseeing tour to Cabo Girão, followed by a Madeira wine tasting in Madeira Wine.
Cabo Girão is a lofty sea cliff located along the southern coast of the island of Madeira geographically part of Africa. Cabo Girão is a popular lookout point, with up to 1800 visitors a day.
Madeira wine is a fortified wine made on the Portuguese Madeira Islands. Madeira wine is produced in a variety of styles ranging from dry wines which can be consumed on their own, as an apéritif, to sweet wines usually consumed with dessert.

Dinner at Design Centre Nini Andrade Silva

The dinner will be hosted in the Design Centre Nini Andrade Silva Restaurant.
The Design Centre Nini Andrade Silva is located in the city of Funchal at the emblematic building known locally as “Molhe” - Fortaleza da Nossa Senhora da Conceição, which was once the home of Gonçalves Zarco, an old Portuguese sea navigator and colonizer of the Archipelago of Madeira.

Reception cocktail

The reception cocktail will be hosted in the Funchal Town Hall.
The Funchal Town Hall Building was commissioned in 1758 by the Count of Carvalhal to be his residence, and then passed through several owners and tenants. In 1883 it was acquired by the Funchal Municipal Council to serve as Town Hall, due to the development of the city, which forced the authorities to look for a larger place to hold its headquarters.

Dinner at Quinta da Vigia

Thursday, 27th October 2022, 20:00h

The dinner will be hosted in the official house of the President of the Government, in Quinta da Vigia Palace.
Quinta Vigia, overlooking the port of Funchal, is currently the official residence of the Regional Government of Madeira. This baroque and neoclassical civil architecture manor house was built in the 17th century and underwent restoration works over the XIX and XX centuries. This estate is considered one of the most emblematic "quintas" (manor houses) on the island.

Dress code: Business Formal (recommended man with suit jacket/blazer and tie)
